- This 18 Bedroom Hostel Design has 3 stories and a simple roof. The functional layout for the ground floor and second floor is similar. These rooms consist of a bathroom, bedroom, and small kitchen counter. Each room can allow for 1 – 4 people. The kitchen space can change to a study area or extra storage space. The first floor has 2 rooms, a cafeteria, an office, and laundry. The laundry layout is in such a way that more than 8 people can use it at the same time. The cafeteria is on the first floor to ease the movement of the users. The kitchen on the first floor comes with a scullery and pantry. Reinforced concrete and burnt bricks are the two materials for this simple hostel design. Lastly, the roof structure has a simple gable roof made from timber that is easy to build.
- The plan is scalable and can be extended or reduced in length. These changes allow the changing of the number of rooms without having any effect on the structure.
